January 2012
The Rootin’ Tootin’ Red Grouper Tournament is gonna be makin’ a big ruckus in little ole’ Marco Island!
For you greenhorns who weren’t at the meetin’ on Thursday night take a gander at the picture of the festivities that took place.  The flyer/information sheet is here too, so if you want to be a part of this cattle drive get your boat and your posse together and send in your completed entry. The first 70 city-slickers who sign up get to play in this rodeo!
If you’re a landlubber, don’t have a boat, or aren’t already on a posse, please send an email to Yosemite Sam (hlaskau@comcast.net) and he’ll see what he can do. Posse (crew) space is not guaranteed, is assigned on an  “as available” basis, and final selections are made by the Old Coot Captains!
Stop moseyin’ around, mount up and get ready for some rip roarin’ fun!
Sam’s Cowboy Wisdom for today:
“Remember...don’t squat on yer spurs and always drink upstream from your horse”
