MSC Club General Meetings
Club meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month
at the Jewish Congregational Center, 991 Winterberry Drive, on Marco Island.
Meetings generally start at 7PM and are usually followed by a social event at a local
establishment. Remember to wear your name tag or pay a buck!
In addition to conducting regular club business, there is
usually a guest speaker, demonstration, clinic or other event. See
below for events at upcoming meetings. Visitors are most welcome.

Russo from the FWC come and speak to us on the fish restoration
project going on in Tampa. She will be expaining and showing the
working of the redfish hatchery at Port Manatee.

Wright Taylor, past president of the Naples chapter of Coastal
Conservation Association (CCA) will be our speaker. He will talk
about efforts being undertaken to buildup Florida fisheries. |

Capt. Ken Chambers is
our speaker for the Dec. 7th meeting. He will give a talk and slide
presentation on the secrets of backwater fishing during the winter
months. |

6:30PM Clinic: Nat Broder will do a table on reel maintenance.
Peter, the tackle specialist at Marco River Marina, will do a table on
plastic baits. Don Robb ties flies & has a fly fishing school.
He will do a fly tying demo. See the knot tying demos!
Seaweed will have a tackle table, and there will be a rigging table,
and an equipment table. This will be a good time!
